The Khayelitsha Community Hub is a project we are very proud of! Together with Siyanda Sopangisa, from the Khayelitsha Canoe Club, we worked on creating a base for the community under which everything activity they do gets a special place. That has become the Khayelitsha Canoe Club.

Nog only did we focus on the concept of the Hub, but we also created the visuals such as logo’s, mockups and a website.

We are still part of the project and are supporting it in a way that we think let’s Siyanda do his thing, and we help him with that. Where a lot of Europeans usually come in and say what needs to happen, we approach it in a way where they ask us for advice, and we see where we can create a regenerative space for them.
